This is the service that the bank provides to enable customers carry out various banking activities from the comfort of their offices or homes. The Facility offers you 24-hour banking services. To enable you to use this service you need:

Hardware

• An Internet enabled PC with at least:
• 128 MB RAM
• 500 MB Free Space
• A Network Interface Card
• A Colour Monitor
• Plus other standard features of a PC (mouse, keyboard etc.)

Software

•MS Internet Explorer 5.5 or above

Before using the system, you will need to complete an application form obtainable from your branch. The duly completed application form is delivered back to the branch after which the bank’s IT staff will setup the initial connection.

A handbook entitled “Internet Banking” is available from your Branch. This booklet contains information on how to use the system. The booklet is recommended for all new users.

Features

The system offers you the following options:

Account Summary
This gives you all the balances of your accounts with the Bank. e.g. your savings and current account balances.

Account Details
This option gives you a single account level summary. It gives all balances relating to the account i.e. Opening Balance, Current Balance, Current Balance, Uncleared Funds, Available Credit and the Net Available Balance.

Account Activity
This option gives you details of all transactions on the account between two pre-defined dates. This report is equivalent to a statement of account for a given period.

Cheque Book Request
This option gives you a facility to request a new Cheque book.

Cheque Status Enquiry
This option gives you a facility to enquire as to the status of a cheque that you have already issued or deposited.

Rate Inquiry
This option gives you a facility to review prevailing interest rates applicable to our various products (i.e. savings accounts, deposit accounts, current accounts etc) or the Indicative Forex Rates. Any transactions using the forex rates must be confirmed with your branch manager before execution. These rates are merely indicative and may change without notice.

Funds Transfer
This option enables you to transfer funds between two accounts within the same branch, in different branches or indeed in another bank altogether. The originating account MUST be within our bank.
